“THE COLORS OF THE SOUL”, 120 pieces of art by Marc Chagall on show at Villa Fiorentino in Sorrento

The exhibition called “The Colors of the Soul”, that is entirely dedicated to the great artist March Chagall, will be open until 15 November. Villa Fiorentino, a breathtaking property located in Corso Italia, Sorrento, which is also where the Sorrento Foundation has its headquarters, will be housing the 120 works of art of the Russian-French painter.

Among the works on display, you will find some of his most relevant masterpieces, such as “Le Coq Violet” and “L’homme rouge à la casquette”. These paintings have been realised through different techniques, like oil painting and pencil drawing.

There will be also an interactive section which will show the most amazing multicolored glass windows Chagall has realized for religious buildings all around the world, such as the synagogue of the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Israel, that was about to be destroyed during the Six-Day War.

In September the opening hours will be: 10 –13 and 17– 21. From October 1 to November 15: 10– 13 and 16–20.
